CaPROMISE: Increasing education and employment outcomes for youth with disabilities and their families
Prof Dr. McFarlane and Dr. Mari Guillermo discussed with our members through a webinar the development, implementation and preliminary findings of the five-year research CaPROMISE, funded by the Office of Special Education Programs, US Department of Education.
The focus was to examine person-centric and system-centric strategies for increasing retention and graduation from high school, postsecondary education and training opportunities, work experiences and target employment in competitive integrated settings.
