EPR Briefing on Building Quality Services: Improving Support for People with Disabilities in Europe
This Briefing provides recommendations to guide the development and implementation of the European Commission’s upcoming Framework on Social Services of Excellence for persons with disabilities. The Framework aims to improve the quality of social services for persons with disabilities, aligning with the European Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030 and focusing on enhancing independent living, community inclusion, and respect for human rights.
The proposed recommendations are informed by input from EPR’s Task Force on Quality and discussions held at the EPR Public Affairs event “Building Better Services: Improving Assistance and Support for people with Disabilities in Europe”, held in November 2024.

EQUASS enhances the social sector by engaging social service providers in continuous improvement, learning and development, in order to guarantee service users quality of services throughout Europe.
