Inclusion Indicators 2023 – A report by Inclusion Europe

On November 29th, Inclusion Europe presented its Inclusion Indicators 2023 Report at the European Parliament. The event was supported by the Members of the European Parliament – Katrin Langensiepen and Monica Semedo. The report covered the current achievements on the topic of inclusion in 29 European countries, including 23 members of the EU. Inclusion indicators were defined as follows:

  • Right to decide and right to vote
  • Right to live independently and to be included in the community
  • Housing and support
  • Education
  • Employment
  • Healthcare
  • Representation

These topics were indicated as the most important ones for people with intellectual disabilities as well as their families.
