Guidance for more Inclusive Employment Policies under the European Semester Spring Package 

On 19 June 2024, the European Commission launched a proposal for a Council Decision on guidelines for the employment policies of the Member States. These guidelines set common priorities for national employment and social policies to make them fairer and more inclusive. This comes at a time where Europe’s faces continued labour and skills shortages, and is an initiative under the 2024 European Semester Spring Package to build a robust and future-proof economy that secures competitiveness, resilience and long-term prosperity for all.
