DUB-IN Project highlights of the year

n 2023, the DUB-IN project achieved significant milestones and made substantial progress. The year began with the second transnational project partner meeting in Dublin, Ireland, where partners discussed project progress and planned the Training of Trainers session. This training, held in Athens, Greece, and led by Michaela Antoniou from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, focused on the dubbing process and synchronisation, with participation from Pro mente OÖ, INTRAS Foundation, Smashing Times, and EKPSE.

Throughout the year, partners met online to monitor progress and provide feedback on the final version of the “DUB-IN Director Curriculum: A Guide for Dubbing Social Skill Training for People with Psychological Disabilities.”

In the latter part of the year, project partners worked on the final translations for the Online Training Service and project APP, and conducted testing of these deliverables. The project’s final results, including the Online Training Service, DUB-IN APP, Director Curriculum, and Major Player Game, are now available on the DUB-IN website.

Additionally, the project launched its second newsletter, featuring highlights from the DUB-IN Project Training in Athens, an expert’s view on the potential of dubbing, updates from DUB-IN project partners, and the next steps.
