EPR Annual Conference 2025 ‘Leading the Change in Rehabilitation: Towards Future-Proof Services’

The European Platform for Rehabilitation (EPR) has long been at the forefront of innovation and excellence in services for persons with disabilities. And always with an eye on the future, we are excited to announce that the EPR Annual Conference 2025 will focus on the changes the rehabilitation sector and services to people with disabilities are undertaking, and how we can play a leading role in shaping them for the better.

The EPR 2025 Annual Conference ‘Leading the Change in Rehabilitation: Towards Future-Proof Services‘ will take place on 5-6 June 2025 (over 1.5 days), in Antwerp, Belgium – a vibrant city where history meets modern flare! Co-organised with EPR member GTB Flanders, the conference will bring together people with lived experience, experts and innovators in the field, policymakers and professionals to share experiences, learn from good practices, and co-develop strategies for a more resilient and impactful sector.

Aims of the Conference

• To empower service providers to take a leading role in shaping the future of disability and rehabilitation services;
• To explore innovative solutions that enhance quality, efficiency, and accessibility in service delivery;
• To align service provision with emerging EU policies and funding opportunities;
• To foster peer learning and networking among EPR members, EU institutions, and key stakeholders.

• EPR members:  170€ per person
• Non-members: 240€ per person

Organisations in: Portugal, Poland, Hungary, Latvia, Romania, Slovakia, Croatia, Greece

• EPR members: 125€ per person
• Non-members: 165€ per person

Organisations in: Bulgaria, Turkey, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia (and other countries with a GDP which is below 60% of EU average)

Non-members: 125€ per person

Conference Venue

The EPR 2025 Conference will take place at Syntra – ab, a VET centre with a mission to strengthen and develop competencies in a distinctly practice-oriented way for everyone. Its accessibility, dedication to education and training, and inclusive approach make it the perfect venue choice for our Annual Conference!

Accommodation

We are happy to share that we have secured the Radisson Hotel Antwerp Berchem at a special rate for EPR members for the duration of the Conference! The location of the hotel is a 4-minute walk to the EPR Annual Conference Venue (Syntra – ab). EPR members should have received by email the code to access the discounted rate; if you are an EPR member and have not received the code yet, please get in touch with Raia Mihaylova at rmihaylova@epr.eu. Please note there are a limited number of rooms available at the discount rate, as well as a deadline to use the code – we therefore suggest to make your booking as soon as possible.

For more convenience, we would like to suggest additional hotel options that are near the Annual Conference venue. Please see the information below, and keep in mind these are the standard hotel rates, with no offered discount:

Tulip Inn Hotel 

The Tulip Inn Hotel is a 10-minute walk to the EPR Annual Conference. Please note, there is no public transportation available between the hotel and conference venue due to their close proximity.

Hotel YUST Antwerp

The YUST hotel Antwerp is 19 minutes by bus or train to the EPR Annual Conference venue, or 20 minutes walking. Buses come around every 10 minutes, and there are 4 trains per hour.
