The European Parliament’s new report for an EU roadmap for Artificial Intelligence
The European Parliament’s Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence in a Digital Age (AIDA) adopted a report proposing an EU Roadmap for Artificial Intelligence (AI). The roadmap calls for the development of a favourable regulatory environment common to Member States, clear standards setting, sharing of data and stronger digital infrastructure to ensure access to services for everyone. Attention is also paid to the need to support the development of AI skills needed for life and work, which are essential to foster innovation and support EU excellence centres.
